Most new websites are started with little-to-no budget. With very little money to buy ads, or purchase bulk traffic, how does one go about attracting a steady stream of web traffic to their website?
Today we’re going to discuss the top three ways that beginners can start attracting traffic immediately. There are many different ways that are available to help you drive traffic to your website; some free and some not. When you are starting with zero cash, there are many methods that will be outside your budget, but there are still a few ways that you can get some cheap, or free traffic. Here are a few ways to get you started.
Article marketing is a great FREE way to get some traffic to your website almost immediately. Write, or rewrite an article, and submit it to an article marketing site like eZine articles. Submit it with a few links to your site, and then another link to your site in the resources section. The traffic is minimal, but it will continue to trickle in for a long time after submission.

If you can write articles then you can certainly write in a blog. A blog is very easy to setup, and they work very well when used in conjunction with other methods. Blog traffic can be turned into business traffic with the correct funnel approach.

Getting traffic to your website for free takes a ton of work. Basically, you need to get your link on as many relevant websites as you can. So how would you go about getting this done? Slowly! It’s a slow process, but it’s something that will pay off in the long run.
OK, obviously, traffic building is not for everyone, and it takes quite a bit of work. But, it’s a necessity, and it’s something that must be done to ensure that your website is one of the few that “make it”.
If you are the lazy type, you may better suited finding another way to make money online. Lazy bloggers are broke bloggers.
Now, on to the good news. If you can find an unsaturated market, you don’t need a lot of traffic to make money. It actually takes very little “targeted” traffic to make you a ton of cash. The smaller the niche, the less traffic you need to compete with the “big dogs”. In fact, it may not be that hard to become a big dog yourself.
So that’s tip number one. Find the right niche. The right niche may make the difference between success and failure, so do yourself a favor and pick the right one. Remember, smaller niches are easier to compete in. Smaller niches also take less time to make money in.
I know. Easier said than done right? Not really – click here to see what I mean.
3 Steps To Instant Traffic

Blogs are a fantastic way to build traffic to your website. Search engines love freshly updated content, and they’ll reward you for your effort.
Let’s get specific though. You came here for three easy steps to build instant, or semi-instant traffic for your website. Traffic is king, not content. Although they are both important, content doesn’t make you money, traffic does.
1. Targeted traffic is converting traffic. Let’s not forget that people search for things they are interested in. Question, which one of these would make you think I was serious about making a purchase? I could search for “Article Marketing” or “How to make money submitting articles”. Wouldn’t you assume the second search phrase would be the more specific, or laser targeted of the search terms?
2. Paid traffic isn’t necessarily bad traffic. Paid traffic, albeit expensive (sometimes), can get you just the type of traffic you wanted. Although it might be more expensive in the short term, it allows you to pay for only the type of visitors that you want. This could save you thousands of dollars, and a lot of time in the future.
3. Advertise! Advertising on a popular website, blog, or search engine can get you a great deal of instant (or almost instant) traffic.
